FAQ

SEO audit tool FAQs

What is an SEO site audit?

An SEO site audit crawls a website the way a search engine does and checks every page for technical problems: broken links, missing titles, slow pages, mobile issues and more. The result is a prioritised list of fixes.

How often should you audit a client's website?

Once a month suits most sites, and after every redesign, migration or big content change. Monthly audits catch new problems early and show clients the progress you've made.

How many pages can the audit crawl?

Up to 2,000 pages per website, set per client. The default is 500, which covers most small business sites.

Does the crawler respect robots.txt?

Yes. ReportFalconBot follows robots.txt, including rules for its own name, and spaces out its requests. Read more about ReportFalconBot.

What's the difference between the free audit and agency audits?

The free SEO audit checks up to 50 pages once. Agency audits crawl up to 2,000 pages, can render JavaScript, run monthly, track progress and appear in client reports.

Can I export site audit issues?

Yes. Download every issue with its URL and details as a CSV file for developers or your task tracker.
